Deployment Sites
Kennedy Space Center area
Florida’s Space Coast—the Eastern Range launches ARIA existed to support. Home-station history lives on the Patrick pages.

“Kennedy SC, Florida” on the ARIA deployment list points to the Kennedy Space Center / Cape Canaveral complex on Florida’s east coast—the heart of the Eastern Range. From these pads Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Shuttle, and today’s commercial and national-security launches have climbed out over the Atlantic.
ARIA’s first chapter was written next door at Patrick Air Force Base, where the Aircraft Operations Control Center kept contact with deployed airplanes and linked astronaut voice and telemetry into NASA and DoD networks. The deployment map still marks the Space Coast because missions began here even when the airplanes themselves were staged thousands of miles downrange.
For the base and ARIA unit story, use the Patrick histories. This page exists so the map label has a clear explanation and the right cross-links—without duplicating the home-station essays.
